Ballistic Armour Technologies (Pty) Ltd was formed in March 1993. The owner/director is Mr. John L. Bradfield. We are a proudly South African company based in Germiston, Gauteng. Since its inception Ballistic Armour Technologies has worked on over two and a half thousand vehicles. Although the company has predominantly confined itself to armouring cash in transit vehicles and commercial armoured response vehicles in the past, we now also offer discreet armouring of saloon cars, pickups and SUV's to suit the individual client's requirements.
Our customers include companies such as banks, mining houses, large fleet C.I.T. (cash in transit) operators as well as the small independent operators, local municipalities, the local police and private individuals. Our client base includes many of the largest C.I.T. operators in South Africa - Brink's SA, Standard Bank, SBV Services, Fidelity Cash Management Services and Coin Security. We are preferred suppliers of armoured vehicles for the African continent to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and the World Food Program. We have vehicles running in many African countries - Angola, Uganda, Mozambique, Swaziland, Nigeria, Tanzania, Ghana, Lesotho, Namibia, Burundi, Zambia, Zimbabwe and in the United Kingdom.
